Cottages of York Harbor Gallery
Below are recent photos of the cottages in York Harbor, Maine. Click here for a 1930's Master List of all YH Cottages and their owners in the booklet. Our goal is to continue to build out the site so that there could be a more detailed page behind each photo in the gallery. Here's where you can contribute to the York Harbor Cottage Project: If you have additional information or photos of a specific cottage - please contact us at info@YHCottage.com and we will update our database and share with others. The cottages are listed alphabetically by their cottage name (as stated in the 1930 Cottage Booklet). If the cottage name was "The Brambles", we listed the cottage as "Brambles (The)". Some of the cottages do not exist today, and we have used a photo from 1930. Below this gallery is a gallery of cottages that do not exist today.
Cottages no longer standing - Gallery
This is a gallery of the cottages that are no longer in existence - victims of fire or economics. These photos are included in the main gallery of cottages to complete the 1930's record for the York Harbor Project. If known,we have included the year that the cottage was torn down.

There are a number of cottages in the greater York area that were not presented in the 1930's booklet. The gallery below are some of these cottages, and as we get more information, we will build out their profile.

Yesterday & Today
hese photos show a comparison of what a specific cottage looked like in 1930 compared to what it looks like today (2015) - about 85 years later. Some of the more common changes are elimination or enclosing of porches, and elimination of shutters. In some cases there have been major changes to dormers or rooflines.
Vanishing Views & Vistas
This is a collection of post card images that we have researched and identified the individual cottages.
